Disco To Die To

OOFJ's ambitious debut album Disco To Die To, recorded with the Prague Symphony Orchestra, features ten dark-toned downtempo pop noir tracks that simultaneously manage to reference a variety of inspirations: Nico's hypnotic, dark 60s folk, the minimalism and finesse of techno, symphonies from 20th-century composers, Twin Peaks, and rhytms and structures borrowed from jazz and trip-hop music. Notably, these elements often appear within the same track.
