The second album from jack-of-all-trades Peder reflects his changing tastes. It offers everything from New Orleans death march jazz to 1980s synth, and Oh Land and Jacob Bellens are guests.
As a radio host, actor and photographer music is always essential for Peder. As a musician he thinks both as film composer, dj, producer, remixer and songwriter. In the middle of the morass it’s the songwriter role that is closest to Peter’s heart, and you're never closer to him than when he extends his arm out as an album artist.
On "Dirt & Gold", his second album in his own name, he has even created an album that in its essence expresses how he hears the music. He rarely comes through a single, identical work, but is shuffling around in time and mood. It is in many ways a break with the stylish and steady debut album from 2007.
